Granada Hills Charter TK-8 PTSA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization (TAX ID # 90-1504762). Founded in late 2019 by a group of enthusiastic parents, we support and empower Granada Hills Charter TK-8 in providing superior educational opportunities for its students through fundraising activities and social events that foster educational excellence, parental involvement, and community pride.

We are a PTSA, with the “S” representing students, and actively encourage student participation in our leadership, planning, events, and programs.

For more information, we invite you to join us at one of our meetings. Our general association meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of September, October, January, March, and May.

Why PTA?
There are many parent groups, but there is only one PTA – Parent Teacher Association. Connecting families, schools, and communities for more than 120 years, PTA is the largest children’s advocacy association in the country and the defining organization for family engagement. In California alone, there are more than 800,000 PTA members. It is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian and noncommercial organization that connects families and schools, and fights for full education funding, quality teachers, programs, and policies in the best interest of all children. Today’s PTA is empowered, informed, responsible and a powerful network of nearly 5 million people dedicated to making a difference in the education, health and safety of America’s children.
