This year, Granada Hills Charter TK-8 PTSA has two spooktacular events planned for the 2021 Halloween season. Our most popular event from last year, our Drive-Thru Boo Thru, returns! And new for this year is a family pumpkin decorating contest with winners receiving a family game night gift basket!

BOO THRU 2021
WHEN: Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 10-12:00 PM

WHERE: New Life Church of Nazarene Parking Lot 10650 Reseda Blvd, Northridge CA 91326 (corner of Reseda and Chatsworth streets)

Our Boo Thru is a free, drive-thru event similar to a reverse parade and done in a trunk-or-treat style. Families will drive by decorated car trunks and spooky setups with every child in the car receiving a treat bag at the end of the route. One bag per child and non GHC siblings are welcome. All children must be in the car to receive a treat bag and face masks are required during check-in and while receiving your treat bags. And while families will not be getting out of their cars, costumes and car decorations are still strongly encouraged!

For everyone’s safety, we are limiting the number of cars per timeslot. Please plan to arrive on time during your reserved timeslot. This will help keep everyone safe, ease traffic congestion, and prevent us from having to turn anyone away. 

To ensure all GHC TK-8 students can participate in the event, allergy-friendly treat bags that are free from the Top 8 allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, egg, soy, wheat, fish, and shellfish will be available upon request, within the event registration form.
