VIRTUAL AUDITIONS: (NOW CLOSED)
We enjoy all talent, whether you are an amazing singer, dancer, gymnast, or can do something really unique.

We want to be entertained and amazed by what you can do in 90 seconds or less! So, take a chance and show us your talent!

To audition, parents need to fill out the application consent form and upload a 90 second video on Flipgrid showing us a brief preview of your act. Please start your video by quickly introducing yourself, your grade, and what your act is.

Dress to impress. Audition with the outfit you want to wear on and show us any props or scenery you plan on using. It doesn't hurt to wear something you're comfortable in, and is school appropriate, but will also let you stand out in the crowd. If you don’t have your clothing or props finalized for your audition video, simply show us a picture or describe what you plan on wearing in your audition application form.

The deadline to submit your virtual audition application is April 11th.

Acts selected to move forward in the show will be notified within a few days.

Once selected, performers will have a few weeks to practice and perfect their act. Final performance videos are due May 2nd and can be up to two minutes long. All music should be trimmed accordingly.

CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT THE OFFICIAL AUDITION FORM AND SUBMIT YOUR VIRTUAL AUDITION VIDEO. (OPENS SUNDAY MARCH 21st!)

You may upload your video audition to our Flipgrid HERE

TIPS:
Make sure you film your video in nice bright light. Go outside or pull back all window curtains and blinds to let in as much light as possible. Film when you have the most natural light in the room you want to film in.

If filming inside, clear away all clutter so nothing will distract the audience away from your performance.

To prevent camera shake, which can be distracting, put your camera on a hard, solid surface such as a table, hard book or tripod when you are filming.

Do a quick test to make sure any music you are incorporating is loud enough for audiences to hear, but not too loud that it distracts from your performance.

Please make sure you make your performance your own. We want you to stand out and shine.

Remember that you can choose any part of a song to perform, so pick the part that best shows off your talents.

Each audition is only 90 seconds, but if selected, the final performance video can be up to 2 minutes long.

You should have your act well prepared, so practice as much as you can.

For dancers, make sure your choreography is tight and you bring lots of energy. Incorporating tricks and new, unique choreography is always a great way to stand out.

A good way to show your personality and unique style is through your wardrobe/costume, but remember it also needs to follow the GHC school dress code.
